Six weeks of classroom education at our corporate office in Hunt Valley, MD is followed by branch-specific guidance to help new hires build a career as a broker or underwriter in one of our production units. Participants receive support at multiple levels throughout the company. Our branches provide a seamless transition from our corporate office to your new community. Our experienced production managers challenge you with accounts that demand thoughtful and analytical skill application and designated mentors provide counseling and insight into the complicated excess and surplus marketplace.

All Applicants Must:

  • Have an overall grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be able to relocate
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills

College Seniors and Recent Graduates Must:

  • Be a recent graduate from or full-time senior enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Be pursuing or have received a degree with a major in Insurance and/or Risk Management
  • Be a graduate prior to All Risks University start date

Industry Candidates Must:

  • Possess an AU or ASLI designation or a B.S. Degree (preferably in Insurance/Risk Management)
  • Have a minimum of 3 years Property & Casualty experience
  • Have passed INS 21 and INS 23 exams
  • Principles and practices of surplus lines
  • Sales and marketing
  • Proprietary system instruction
  • All Risks products and services
  • All Risks’ culture and Guiding Principles
  • Leadership skills
  • Commercial Property, Casualty and Surplus Lines coverage
  • Commercial Property and Casualty underwriting
  • Submission analysis, quoting and submission preparation case studies
  • Guest speakers highlighting risk case studies, sales, and marketing techniques
  • Networking opportunities with All Risks’ clients and carriers
  • Research and present on an All Risks specific capstone project
  • Social activities

  • Complete the Online Application and submit to All Risks
