Halee Cork Awarded NAIW of York’s Insurance Professional of the Year
YORK, PA (May 20, 2009) Halee Cork, underwriter for All Risks, Ltd., was awarded the Insurance Professional of the Year Award at the annual National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) of York Breakfast on May 20, 2009. Halee joined NAIW in the fall of 2007 becoming active and involved immediately. In 2008, she attended the Region I conference in Lancaster, Mini-Board in Buffalo and a meeting with the members of NAIW - New York in Manhattan. In addition to serving on the Insurance Women of York Board of Directors for 2008-2009 and elected to serve again for 2009-2010, Halee was co-chair for the Membership and Fellowship committees. NAIW of York provides professional education and networking opportunities within the insurance industry.
Prior to working for All Risks, Halee graduated from Indiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Insurance. This year Halee has earned her AU designation as well as completed two of the three courses necessary to earn the ASLI designation. Additionally, she was awarded a scholarship at the PA Council Day in October. Halee is a valuable asset to All Risks and well respected by her peers in the York, PA Contract Binding Unit. This unit represents an array of specialty carriers to retail agents and brokers. They quote, bind, issue and service policies for admitted and non-admitted carriers.
